I'll Still Be Me!

To Whom It May Concern
Its always easier to run and hideto duck my head in the sand and pretend not to see you
but ignoring the obvious, how far'll it take me?
My Hearts ableeding, I know,A spotted trail of crimson in my wake...
I'm asking for courage, wielding it strong,to be bold enough to retrace my bloodied footprints-footprints behind lead to this spiralling reccess within me-out from where I'd gone to fester
I'm coming out, standing tall
I'm not going to change who I am because of what you've done
I'm clenching my fists and gritting my teethresolving in my mind I'll stay true to Me-
to who God has called me to be
I wont be moved I'll dig my feet in deeper, draw the line thicker,
No one else can be Me and I've got just one lifetime to live it
I'm not gonna blow it-I STILL love you.
Theses Words Are Mine

Memorable Quotes

"Life is short. So live… love… learn… and pay it forward. I seek meaningful experience through mindfulness each day, to walk peacefully within myself, to laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of cats, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to enjoy art and beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world enriched through my contributions, and to know even one life breathed easier because I lived."- Ralph Waldo Emerson
"Lately I've been winning battles left and right, but even winners can get wounded in the fight. People say that I'm amazing, Strong beyond my years. But they don't see inside of me, I'm hiding all the tears. And they don't know that I go running home when I fall down. They don't know who picks me up when no one is around. I drop my sword and cry for just a while, Cause deep inside this armor, The warrior is a child" Twila Paris
"If I have seen farther than others, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of Giants" Sir Isaac Newton

Graveside Blues

There's a picture thats kept recurring in my head the past few days. Its a picture of a beautiful red evening, the sun setting on the horizon of a green, open field with stones scattered about...but not they'r not just ordinary stones. They mark time. -They're Tombstones. But there's one I'm particular about, that's the one I choose to sit beside, not because its actually hewn out of marble and glistening in the cool evening sun, No. Its because it I see engraved in it and set in black My Name. Someone once said that they're only two things in life you'll be remembered for: -The Problems you create and -The Problems you solve. Someone else set it higher and said 'you were not put here to be remembered. You were put on earth to prepare for eternity. One day you'll stand before God on the other side of eternity and He will ask you "What Have You done With My Son?" I wonder what you'll remember me for...more importantly I wonder what He thinks of me... Seriously, If you were told you had only six hours to live what would you do?
